About

I made TapScore to solve an issue I kept running into in my music creation process. I could hear a melody in my head, but when I wanted to write it down on a stave I struggled to translate the rhythm into accurate musical notation.

I kept wishing there was a tool that let me just clap out the rhythm I was imagining and it would magically translate onto a stave, instead of interrupting my creative flow to break down fractions and mess around with dots and ties.

That's where the idea for TapScore originated. After much tinkering and tweaks, this is the end product I now use every time I need to jot down some complicated rhythm notation. I figure if it helps me, it can help others!

I am still building TapScore and would love to hear any feedback you have. I want to ship features people actually want, so please reach out with suggestions or requests.
